Potential East x-factors in the NBA Playoffs: Kemba Walker, Boston Celtics

Many were quick to discount the Boston Celtics as soon as it went on that was announced that Jaylen Brown would miss the remainder of the season with a wrist injury, but this team still has enough talent to make some noise in the East playoffs.

But if they’re going to do so, they’re going to need a big supporting role performance from Kemba Walker. Even though Walker has had a bit of a down season this year in terms of efficiency, this is a player that is still averaging 19 points and five assists per game for the team.

During his time with the Celtics, Walker has emerged as somewhat of an afterthought. However, he still a really good player and will need to prove that in the playoffs if the Celtics are going to make a first-round series interesting against one of the higher seeds.
