NBA Draft prospect: Keon Johnson, Tennessee

Keon Johnson might not be a name that many casual NBA fans know, but one that any fan will like based on the highlight potential that he has every time he steps on a basketball floor. Johnson is extremely athletic but is far from a complete offensive player.

He averaged 11 points per game on only 27 percent shooting from the field. If he’s going to be an effective offensive player at the next level, he’s going to have to refine his shooting stroke at the next level.

Like most players in the top 10, the potential is clearly there. His inconsistency was quite disappointing to see during his freshman year at Tennessee. And I don’t want him to simply be an athletic weapon off the bench, but I can’t get that possibility out of my head.
