6. Denver Nuggets

Since the NBA Trade Deadline, there isn’t a team that has played better than the Denver Nuggets. Despite the injury to Jamal Murray, this is a team that is playing at an exceptional level. The big question is when the injury to Murray will catch up to this team.

Will it hit them in the playoffs? Or is this team’s talent and depth too overwhelming that it will be able to absorb the loss of Murray? Nikola Jokic is likely the MVP of the league and will get a chance to prove that when the playoffs start.

5. Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks have practically flown under the radar in the Eastern Conference for much of the season. They still have arguably the best player in the NBA in Giannis Antetokounmpo and one of the best-supporting casts.

If Jrue Holiday has the type of impact that this front office believed he could have in the postseason, it’ll be interesting to see how their season plays out. Milwaukee, at least on paper, might also be the one team best equipped to take down the Nets in a seven-game series.
