Players that must step up for the Golden State Warriors: Andrew Wiggins
This is an opportunity for Andrew Wiggins to shine on the biggest stage. The narrative coming into his tenure with Golden State was would he be able to complement his teammates positively. Once Curry steps off the floor, the ball is usually in Wiggins’s hands to take control of the offense.
More often than not, he has done a good job of that.
Wiggins is averaging 18.6 points per game on 47 percent shooting from the field this season. When he has been called upon, he has brought max effort on both ends of the floor. Being one of the talented players on the roster, Wiggins has made sure to give 100 percent effort for Golden State for most of this season.
If the Warriors are going to make any noise in the postseason this year, they’re going to need big contributions from Wiggins.
