New York Knicks vs. Atlanta Hawks: Prediction

The more I think about this series, the more I find myself falling in love with the potential of the Knicks. I like the Hawks but still feel they’re a year away from being a true contender in the East. While I don’t think the Knicks are “contenders,” I like their DNA, their confidence, and their combination of contributors.

Plus, you can’t help Thibodeau’s return to relevance. I believe Barrett and Randle are going to have a series to remember and that the supporting cast for New York is going to show up in a big way.

I believe Thibs will have the upper hand against Nate McMillan and Rose is going to have a bigger impact than many believe.

The Hawks are going to have their moments throughout this series, but ultimately I believe the Knicks are going to outlast the competition.

Prediction: Knicks in 7
