Jimmy and Bam were not Jimmy and Bam for the Miami Heat

I’m not sure there was another game this season in which Jimmy Butler played more poorly than he did in Game 1 against the Bucks. He went 4-17 from the field and even though he scored 17 points, it was quite clear that he was not quite himself on the offensive end of the floor.

Additionally, Bam Adebayo only scored nine points and shot just 4-15 from the field. It was almost as if Bam was seeing ghosts on the offensive end while being guarded by Brook Lopez. Bam was indecisive and had an off night by his comparisons.

Miami may have gone off as a team from deep, but this team is not going to win many games with Jimmy and Bam only combining for 26 points.

This is probably going to be the worst offensive output from Jimmy and Bam in this series and the fact that the Heat only lost by two points and had a chance to win in regulation tells you all you need to know about how resilient this team is.

if Jimmy and Bam can bounce back in a big way heading into Game 2, the Heat should be just fine.
