10. Orlando Magic (via Chicago) – Corey Kispert, F, Gonzaga

I’m not sure the last time that two college teammates were selected by the same team in the same draft, but in this mock, that’s exactly what happens when the Magic select Corey Kispert with their second pick in the top 10.

Even though many have questioned his ceiling and whether he has the ability to translate well at the next level, I can’t help but think how his simple shooting ability will give him the chance to have a long NBA career. Especially with the way the NBA has evolved over the last few seasons.

The connection between Kispert and Suggs should help the Magic, and I believe these are two players that have the potential to evolve and develop into two really good players in the NBA. If nothing else, Kispert will be a really good shooter and find a place in the league for a very long time.
