2. Detroit Pistons – Cade Cunningham, G, Oklahoma State

Even if Mobley jumps to No. 1, it would be unlikely that any other prospect will jump over Cade Cunningham in this draft. The Detroit Pistons luck into arguably the best player in this draft class (even though he may not have the highest ceiling). Cunningham is a future star and has everything you want in a pro-ready prospect.

Cunningham impressed during his freshman season at Oklahoma State and would effectively be a great addition to the Pistons. He may not help this team win many games right away, but would offer some excitement to the franchise.

That, more than anything, is something that Detroit simply hasn’t had in a very long time – even after the team acquired Blake Griffin a couple of seasons ago. Landing Cunningham would be a huge win for this franchise.
