3. Orlando Magic – Jalen Suggs, G, Gonzaga

Even though this pick might make for a crowded backcourt in Orlando, assuming that the team believes in Markelle Fultz (who is expected to return from injury next season) and Cole Anthony. Nevertheless, Suggs is the best player available at this point in the draft and he would need to be the pick.

Suggs has shown the ability to be a do-it-all lead guard. He can score, be a good playmaker, defend, and showed true grit and leadership during his freshman season at Gonzaga. Suggs would be the exact first piece that the Magic would need in their rebuild.

He’s also a player that could fit next to this team’s other guards on the roster and would help bring intrigue back to the franchise after they traded away their three best players at the NBA Trade Deadline this past season.
