Three key players that need to step up for the New York Knicks to win Game 2 against the Atlanta Hawks. 

After what might’ve been the best Game 1 of the opening weekend in the NBA Playoffs, the hope is that the New York Knicks and Atlanta Hawks deliver another memorable game heading into Game 2.

What we should all come to realize ahead of Game 2 between the Knicks and Hawks, though, is that there will be adjustments. It’s the name of the game in the NBA postseason and certainly will be the case for a seasoned coach such as Tom Thibodeau.

Knowing Thibs and his work ethic, he’s probably been up the past 72 hours trying to come up with a schematic change in how to possibly contain Trae Young, who absolutely torched the Knicks in Game 1.

Protecting the paint is going to be a priority in Game 2 and could be the key to stopping Young’s pick-and-roll threat. Nevertheless, ahead of Game 2, we explore three key players that will need to step up if the Knicks are going to tie the series up.
