Four players that propelled the New York Knicks to a comeback win in Game 2 over the Atlanta Hawks.
As exciting as Game 1 was between the New York Knicks and Atlanta Hawks, Game 2 of their first-round NBA Playoff series was just as riveting.
Once again, the Knicks started the game flat on offense while looking tense and hesitant. R.J. Barrett scored the first buckets of the game with an and-one layup and followed up with a 3 to try to get this offense going early.
Shortly after, their offense would go cold yet again and Julius Randle went scoreless in the first quarter after an 0-3 start and just two points at the end of the first half. The Knicks would find themselves down 12 going into the 3rd quarter and desperately needing a spark.
With Randle still struggling and the Knicks offense sputtering, four heroes rose (no pun intended) to the occasion to give them a thrilling 101-92 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. We take a closer look at each player that helped spark a Knicks’ comeback.
