Three questions that will shape the Miami Heat’s offseason.
Heading into the 2021 NBA Playoffs, there weren’t many firm believers in the Miami Heat. Still, because they were still the defending Eastern Conference champions, some assumed they were saving their best of the season for the postseason.
In the end, that wasn’t the case and the defending champions exited stage left in an embarrassing fashion at the hands of the new and improved Milwaukee Bucks. The Heat showed (some) fight in Games 1 and 4, but in the end, the Bucks overwhelmed Miami in every facet of the game as they swept the defending East champs in the first round of the playoffs.
After being the final team to be eliminated in the NBA playoffs last season, the Heat became the first team to be eliminated from the postseason this year. Now that their season is officially over, there are many questions that this team will have to answer over the next few months. We explore the three biggest that will shape their summer.
