What is the best way for the Miami Heat to maximize Jimmy Butler’s prime window?

This was what was most curious about the Heat not being all-in on pursuing James Harden. Jimmy Butler will be 32 by the time next season begins and without a consistent jump shot, I’m not sure how well his game is going to age over the next few years.

Miami needs to maximize his prime years and essentially suffered somewhat of a lost season. Miami hoped that the individual progressions of Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo would be enough to help this team take another step in the right direction.

That philosophy proved to be flawed and, instead of taking a step forward, the Heat took a big step back. Miami didn’t even look like they belonged on the same floor as the Bucks and I’m not really sure how they can make up that much ground in one offseason.

Still, it’s something this front office will likely try to do.
