We did an in-depth breakdown on Springer back in February, he seems to have uncanny similarities to former four-time NBA All-Star Brandon Roy. He’s got an old-school scoring game with a modern overall offensive skill-set that highlights smarts over flash. Despite the criticism that Springer lacks elite quick-twitch to become a potent offensive threat at the next level, he constantly showed the refined handle to be one of the better shot-creator and makers in this class.

He’s got good size for a guard and should be able to defend some forwards at times. I believe Springer is a much better athlete than the narrative that has been presented on him and am banking on his basketball IQ, intangibles, shot-making, and offensive versatility as reasons why he’s got All-Star potential.
