Aaron Henry has some really exciting potential as a shot-creator and playmaker at the next level that should get him selected in the latter portion of the first round. He’s got tremendous physical tools and his pro comparison to me would be a more athletic, bigger version of former NBA guard Cuttino Mobley.
Henry’s a dual-threat off of the dribble and can either attack a defender with his shooting or get to the tin and with his combination of length and athleticism finish above-the-rim.
Outside of his shooting and scoring ability, I imagine teams will be most interested in Henry’s playmaking potential. He’s a good defender who should have the length and quickness to excel at the NBA level, but I think teams will be most captivated by how they can use him as a bigger playmaking two-guard.
Henry could end up being one of the more sneakily valuable first-round picks from this class when it’s all said and done.
