NBA draft prospect Chris Duarte (Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports)

24. Chris Duarte, G, Oregon

Measurables: 6-foot-6, 190 pounds, 6-foot-7 wingspan

Class: Senior

Age: 23

Mike’s Ranking: 24

Evan’s Ranking: 24

Chris Duarte is one of the older players in this class and that alone might limit how teams view his upside, but that will just lead to him being a stellar value pick at the end of the first round or in the early portion of the second round. His shooting, shot-making, and experience will be most valued, allowing him to contribute right away as a scorer off of the bench. He’ll be able to create instant offense for a second unit, while also providing another playmaker for a team to utilize as Duarte is an underrated passer.

He’ll need to continue to make improvements as a defender to maximize his full potential as an NBA player, my pro comparison for his skills would be Atlanta Hawks guard Bogdan Bogdanovic.
