Brandon Boston Jr. was a highly-touted high school prospect that didn’t exactly pan out as believed during his freshman season at Kentucky. He left much to be desired during his lone season in college, but because of his potential, there’s a good chance that he’s still a first-round pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. Though, considering that the hype around him has tempered, there’s a chance he could emerge as a late-round steal.
Boston Jr. struggled with his shooting efficiency and lacks true playmaking ability at this point. He isn’t great on the defensive end either, but his size and athleticism suggest that he could develop quicker on that end of the floor.
Boston Jr. didn’t have as many flash moments in college but he’s still an intriguing prospect that many NBA scouts will keep a close eye on heading into the official pre-draft process.
