Jalen Suggs is a prospect we did an extensive breakdown on back in January, looking at reasons as to why he should be in the discussion for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. He’s a do-it-all combo guard who has tremendous scoring potential given his ability to finish at the rim and his deadly pull-up shooting range from beyond the arc.

Suggs’ pro comparisons/best projection for me would be a combination of Washington Wizards guard Russell Westbrook and Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard.

Alongside Cunningham and Mobley, he has the biggest potential of any draft prospect to change the trajectory of a franchise. Suggs has the intangibles to go with the physical attributes and skills, he’s an unselfish star who does the small things like scoring off of the ball and rebounding to help his team win.

He should be a home run selection for whatever NBA team is lucky enough to draft him.
