New York Knicks

It’s been a storyline all season for this team and it showed up in the playoffs as well; the New York Knicks need more of a scoring punch in their backcourt. And while they could hope RJ Barrett continues to develop into that player, the Knicks would be wise to try and address that in the offseason as well.

If the Knicks swing and miss on some of the other options in free agency, it wouldn’t be exciting for New York to scan through the trade market ahead of the start of next season. One option that could arise is Collin Sexton.

He’s young enough where he fits with this team’s young core and offers a scoring punch that would help the team. He could also be part of the answer at the point guard position (even though Sexton is probably more of a 2-guard).
