NBA teams who should blow up their blueprint: Minnesota Timberwolves
The Minnesota Timberwolves have to be one of the most confusing roster constructions in all the NBA. Even though they have great talent on paper – Karl-Anthony Towns, Anthony Edwards, and D’Angelo Russell are great individual talents – this team simply hasn’t been able to put it all together on the court.
They didn’t sniff the postseason this year and while, understandably, there were some outside factors to that, this team never looked all that comfortable or encouraging this year. Maybe they give is this roster another year or two to try to figure itself out, but I believe that there’s a good chance that the Wolves are better off trying to blow up this current build.
Whether their next build revolves around Edwards or not, they have a solid start with him. Minnesota would get great offers for both Towns and Russell and would put this franchise in a great spot moving forward.
