Matchups that will decide Philadelphia 76ers vs. Atlanta Hawks: Trae Young vs. Philly’s backcourt

I’m not exactly sure how the Sixers will elect to defend Young when this series starts and I’m sure we’ll see a number of defenders thrown at him until Rivers finds a matchup that he favors. But I’m sure we’ll see Ben Simmons, Matisse Thybulle, and possibly even Tobias Harris all get their shot.

If the Sixers are able to contain Young – no one is going to stop him – I believe they’ll have their way in this second-round series.

If there’s one battle that the Hawks absolutely need to win, it’s the battle in the backcourt. Young is going to need to be absolutely unstoppable in this series if the Hawks are going to have any chance to pull off the upset. And for Atlanta, that’s just the first thing that has to fall their way.
