NBA Mock Draft 6.0: OKC surprises at No. 4; Jalen Green falls out of top 5

22. Los Angeles Lakers – Alperen Sengun, C, Turkey

After a disappointing postseason run, which only lasted six games, it’ll be interesting to see how the Los Angeles Lakers approach this offseason. Especially the draft. It would be unlikely that the Lakers would find any rotation players at this point in the first round, but taking a flier on Alperen Sengun could be worth it in the long term.

Sengun lit up the Turkish Super League, in which he averaged 19 points, nine rebounds, and nearly two blocks per game this season. He’s somewhat of a traditional big, at least offensively, so you can see why he isn’t expected to be taken in the lottery.

Though, with how productive Sengun was last season in the Turkish League, it would be highly surprising if there wasn’t a team that was willing to take the risk with him in the first round of the 2021 NBA Draft.
