23. Houston Rockets (via Portland) – Tre Mann, G, Florida

Another first-round talent should do the Houston Rockets good, this time by adding an intriguing guard prospect out of Florida. Tre Mann has great size for a guard (6-foot-5, 6-foot-8 wingspan) and really jumped up draft boards with his strong sophomore season in which he averaged 16 points, six rebounds, and four assists.

He appears to be a good enough shooter where he’ll make an impact for any team initially and could grow into a good defender. He still has some proving to do when it comes to his playmaking on the offensive end, but he’s certainly a prospect that could pay dividends after a bit of development.

Adding another strong talent in Mann, the Rockets would be well on their way in trying to find a new solid foundation for the franchise.
