29. Phoenix Suns – Brandon Boston Jr., G, Kentucky
If there’s any team that is willing to bet on potential late in the first round, there’s no question that Brandon Boston Jr. could be a fit. Boston left much to be desired during his freshman season at Kentucky, but he was a highly-touted prospect coming out of high school.
If Boston can show in his pre-draft workouts that he can find a consistent jump shot, there’s a chance that he could rise up draft boards. That’s one of his biggest issues coming out of college. he has the athleticism to improve defensively and that should help him at the next level.
For a team such as the Phoenix Suns, it wouldn’t hurt to take a flier on a prospect as talented (at a raw level) as Boston.
