NBA Trade Rumors: 4 teams that should try and poach Kristaps Porzingis away from the Dallas Mavericks during the offseason. 

It’s safe to say that Kristaps Porzingis’ stint with the Dallas Mavericks hasn’t exactly gone as planned. So much so that there will be some big questions this franchise will have to face heading into the offseason. With the biggest of such revolving around Porzingis.

Porzingis’ future with the Mavs is very much in doubt and he gave voice to that shortly after the team was eliminated by the LA Clippers in the first round of the playoffs.

During a disappointing showing in the playoffs for the Mavs this season, Porzingis averaged just 13 points and five rebounds on under 30 percent shooting from 3-point range. Even though Porzingis still has three years remaining on his current contract (with a player option for that final season), there’s no guarantee that he will finish out this contract with the Mavs.
