This is not a franchise that wants a long rebuild and as the team’s young players continue to progress, Kristaps could be a player that excels in a primary role for the team.
Plus, there might not be any better coaching that Kristaps could get at this point in his career than in San Antonio. Pop has proven that he can coach any type of player and has the utmost respect from nearly everyone around the NBA.

What has been lost during this year’s playoff run is that Kristaps is still a really good player.
