Utah Jazz players that will shine vs. LA: Rudy Gobert

This is a golden opportunity for Rudy Gobert to shine in a potentially back and forth series. We saw Gobert’s impact in the first round on both ends of the floor. With the potential to play in his first Western Conference Finals, there is no question that Gobert will be prepared to impact the series for Utah.

Gobert has had great showings against the Clippers this season, particularly a 20-point, 23-rebound performance in February. Will that mean anything in the postseason? More than likely not but it will be in the back of his mind to be aggressive the way he did in the regular season.

Gobert’s interior defense will be crucial against a talented Clippers team who often struggled for points inside against Dallas. He should continue to set the tone from that standpoint, which can result in easy opportunities on offense.
