It seems as if no one can compete with the Brooklyn Nets and that shouldn’t be a surprise.
Following the first two games between the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets, the general public seemed to have been taken aback at just how dominant the latter had been playing. But why?
Apparently, everyone has forgotten just how stacked the Nets roster actually is. To give some perspective, at least four names on it will be in the Basketball Hall of Fame someday. It’s not exactly fair to assume that Giannis Antetokounmpo and his band of (above-average) role players can keep up so trivially.
The only good reason for any shock behind Brooklyn’s upper hand would be due to James Harden’s absence, as he is one of their top players. However, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant are still a very efficient one-two punch, especially in regards to the scoring offense.

So far in the series with Milwaukee, the Nets have reigned victorious by an average of just over 23 points, and that is without Harden scoring even a single point in either of the first two installments.
The Bucks are probably hoping for a resurgence of momentum once they begin playing their first game of the matchup back in their home territory, but such an occurrence is unlikely. If a missing all-star isn’t stopping your opponent from decimating you, how will a surely-deflated crowd do so?
Considering that Game 2 was decided by a jaw-dropping margin of 39 points, common sense would imply that a total sweep is on the horizon for Milwaukee. If that happens, Brooklyn will stomp its way into the Eastern Conference Finals with only one postseason loss.
Who will be expected to stop them then? The Philadelphia 76ers, who rely almost solely on an emotionally impulsive Joel Embiid? Or perhaps the Atlanta Hawks, who have about as little depth as the Bucks? Yeah, there is a reason that the Nets are many people’s favorite to win it all this season.
It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Bucks can’t keep up with the Nets. In fact, there’s a good chance that there isn’t a team in the NBA that can.
