9. John Collins, 23, Atlanta Hawks
John Collins has been one of the pleasant surprises from the 2017 NBA Draft and should be in line for a big payday during the offseason. It would be surprising to see him leave Atlanta, but the Hawks have some big questions they need to answer during the summer.
Regardless, Collins is a really good young player. He’s coming off a season in which he averaged 18 points and seven rebounds on 56 percent shooting from the field and 40 percent shooting from 3-point range. His production took a hit this season, but that was mostly due to Atlanta acquiring more talent during this past offseason.
The biggest reason why Collins isn’t ranked higher is because of his overall inconsistency. The talent is clearly there, however.
