The three biggest priorities facing the Boston Celtics heading into the NBA offseason.

It was time for a change for the Boston Celtics and they did just that by moving Brad Stevens to the front office when Danny Ainge elected to step down as the team’s general manager. While many have questioned this move, it remains to be seen whether this was the right or wrong move.

Stevens will have some big decisions to make this offseason regarding several players on their roster and where they want to move heading into the future. The good news is that this franchise has two strong foundational pieces in Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Now, Stevens will need to begin to build around them – something that Ainge didn’t do perfectly.

With several tasks on the dock this summer, we will explore three of the biggest priorities for the Celtics that Stevens (and his staff) will have to address. We begin with the most important job that Stevens is currently tasked with.
