Priorities for the Boston Celtics: Finding the answer at the center position

Another priority that the Celtics need to have heading into the offseason is finding the right fit at the center position. The team tried to use Tristan Thompson in that role this season, after signing him during the offseason, but it simply didn’t work as they hoped it would.

If the Celtics are going to rebound after somewhat of a disappointing season, they’re going to need to find the right balance in the frontcourt. I’m not sure how the Celtics are going to find the right starting center, but it’s been pretty clear that he’s probably not on the roster at the moment.

With a little more power – with the knowledge of what it is to coach this roster – I believe that Stevens will have the potential to find the right answer for this team in the frontcourt, whether that’s via trade or the draft.
