The LA Clippers are back in control in the Western Conference semifinals against the Utah Jazz.
After another dominating performance in Game 4 against the Utah Jazz, the LA Clippers have evened the series at 2-2 and appear to be back in the driver’s seat in the Western Conference semifinals.
In Game 4, it was Paul George and Kawhi Leonard once again putting on an offensive show in which the Clippers‘ dynamic duo combined to finish with 62 points, 16 rebounds, and seven assists.
Even though Donovan Mitchell had his way offensively, once again, his 37 points were not enough to even make the contest close. The Clippers led by double-digits for most of the night as they cruised to victory.

Can the LA Clippers win one on the road?
Especially after such close games in Game 1 and 2, an argument could be made that the Clippers have looked like the better team in this series. LA had one really bad quarter in Game 1 that cost them the game and it was pretty much the same story in Game 2.
If the Clippers could put together a complete game on the road, there’s a chance that LA could win this series in six. Either way, especially with the way George has looked recently, the objective favorites in this, now, three-game series have to be the Clippers.
It’s almost as if the Clippers play better when their backs are against the wall. We saw a bit of that in their series against the Dallas Mavericks and are seeing that again against the Jazz.
It’ll be interesting to see how both teams come out in Game 5, in as close to a must-win situation for the Jazz (especially with how they’ve played in the two games in LA thus far in this series.
With as well as Utah has been all season long, you’d have to think that they will have a strong punch when they get back on their home floor. It will ultimately come down to whether or not that punch will be strong enough to overcome the Clippers’ overwhelming dynamic duo.
The Jazz is one of the better overall teams remaining in the postseason but when the Clippers are playing at the level that they currently are, it’s tough to beat them. And unless something drastically changes in Game 5, it’s looking more and more like the Clippers are in control of this series.
