Los Angeles Lakers trade target: Collin Sexton

If the Los Angeles Lakers wanted to move on from Dennis Schroder and wanted a similar replacement that would perhaps be a bit cheaper, maybe Collin Sexton could become an option during the offseason.

Sexton is coming off the best statistical season of his career thus far, averaging 24 points and four assists per game on 48 percent shooting from the field and 37 percent shooting from 3-point range. He’s a similar-type player to Schroder and could play almost the same role.

He could take some more pressure off LeBron James and Anthony Davis, probably more than Schroder was able to do this past season, and he’d be a welcomed sight for the team. It would have to include a sign-and-trade for Schroder, but, hey, we’ve seen stranger things take place in the NBA before.
