Los Angeles Lakers trade target: Myles Turner

The team’s experiment with Andre Drummond may not have worked towards the latter portion of the regular season, but perhaps it’s time for the Lakers to actually get it right. One way to possibly do that is to acquire a center whose game actually complements Davis.

That’s why I believe Myles Turner would be a great fit for Los Angeles. Turner is one of the best rim protectors in the league and is head and shoulders a better overall defender than Drummond. Turner also has the ability to stretch defenses with his 3-point jumper.

Turner would be a great fit next to LeBron and Davis and would create quite a lethal lineup if the team could also find a way to re-sign Schroder while doing so. It would take some major cap gymnastics, but you’d have to think that it could theoretically be done.
