In the latest edition of our NBA Mock Draft 7.0, the New York Knicks make a big move up in the first round.

The big headlining move in this draft, the New York Knicks trade the No. 19 and 21 overall picks to the San Antonio Spurs for the No. 12 pick. New York moves up in an attempt to find the answer at the point guard position. There have already been whispers of the possibility and it’s something that could happen on draft night.

Additionally, for our latest, with the NBA Draft lottery this week, we decided to go chalk with the order. Let’s get to the latest edition of our NBA Mock Draft 7.0.

1. Houston Rockets – Cade Cunningham, G, Oklahoma State

As expected, there continues to be not a ton of movement at the projected top of this draft. The Houston Rockets still make the safe play by taking Cade Cunningham with the first overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. He’s a safe pick that has star potential. He’d give the Rockets a new face of the franchise after the departure of James Harden this past season.
