NBA Mock Draft 7.0: New York Knicks trade up for an answer at point guard
11. Charlotte Hornets – Corey Kispert, F, Gonzaga
Corey Kispert is one of the biggest unknowns in the first round of this draft, in my opinion. I love his shooting ability and the fact that he proved to be more than that during his senior season at Gonzaga.
However, I’m always alerted by any prospect that has to rely on his shooting to be an effective player at the next level. The good news about Kispert is that, at the very least, he has the potential to be the best shooter in this draft.
For a team like the Hornets, who could be looking to part ways with Gordon Hayward this offseason, a player like Kispert could become increasingly valuable to the team during his rookie season should he be the selection. Kispert has the experience, is used to the limelight, and would greatly benefit by playing next to LaMelo Ball.
