17. Memphis Grizzlies – Ziaire Williams, F, Stanford

The Memphis Grizzlies made the playoffs and showed why this team should be considered as one of the most exciting young teams in the NBA this past season. Even though this team absolutely still has some growing to do, this team had some encouraging moments this season.

Adding to the young core will be essential and Ziaire Williams could be a fit. Williams is an interesting prospect and even though he left much to be desired during his freshman season at Stanford, he did have moments of brilliance during his collegiate career.

If he can continue to make strides in his development, I believe that he has the potential to be a really good player down the line. It’s a risk the Grizzlies shouldn’t hesitate to make at this point in the draft.
