5. Cleveland Cavaliers – Scottie Barnes, F, Florida State

The Cleveland Cavaliers are another team that could go any number of ways heading into the 2021 NBA draft. I fully expect this team to take a big swing and there is one interesting player that continues to rise up draft boards that could fit the bill for this team when they go on the clock.

Scottie Barnes, a versatile prospect out of Florida State that was somewhat of a disappointment during his time in college (at least in terms of productivity).

Barnes is an interesting versatile prospect that could play anywhere on the floor at the NBA level and perhaps could be effective in doing so. It’ll be interesting to see how Barnes translates to the pros, but he has the raw talent and versatility to be an effective rotation player, at the very least, for many years to come.

The Cavs would welcome his talent with open arms as they continue to build a strong foundation.
