NBA Mock Draft 7.0: New York Knicks trade up for an answer at point guard

6. Golden State Warriors (via Minnesota) – Jonathan Kuminga, F, G League Ignite

It’s almost unfair that the Golden State Warriors have a top 10 pick in this year’s NBA draft and two lottery picks overall, but nevertheless, it’ll be interesting to see what they did a lot to do with the selections.

Assuming they make a pick with this first one, I have a feeling that they’re going to take a chance on a wing. Jonathan Kuminga could be the answer at No. 6 for the Warriors. Even though there are a lot of gaps in his game, he’s a player that could be developed behind the scenes until he’s ready to contribute.

Kuminga has the potential to be a really good player in the NBA and even has some star potential. He’d be a great high-reward type of risk for the Warriors to take at this point in the NBA Draft.
