8. Orlando Magic (via Chicago) – Franz Wagner, F, Michigan

With their second pick in the top 10, I expect the Orlando Magic to try and bulk up their frontcourt. One potential fit that would make a ton of sense for this team, especially where they are after gutting the roster at the NBA trade deadline, is Franz Wagner.

Even though I’m concerned about his ability at the NBA level, considering that there is not one element of his game that translates to be great, he’s a player that could do it all at the four position.

He could be a point forward, and the expectation is that he’s going to be a good defender at the next level. He would be a great fit for the Magic and would give this team a leader in the frontcourt after losing their face of the franchise.
