Brooklyn Nets priority No. 2: Re-sign Spencer Dinwiddie and Bruce Brown

Man, did the Nets miss Spencer Dinwiddie during the series against the Bucks. He’s not the cleanest fit as a starter alongside the big three, but he’s the ideal 6th man for just about any contender, and, as we know, injuries happen.

As an unrestricted free agent, the decision is entirely his.

Bruce Brown’s toughness and rebounding were huge for the Nets at times during playoff games. The only bucket they scored in the hapless Game 7 overtime came as a result of an offensive rebound he grabbed.

Brown fits in almost any lineup, and will even more if he can improve his 3-point shooting. Unless he gets a stupid fat contract, the Nets would be wise to match it.
