NBA Draft Lottery Outcome No. 1: Chalk; Warriors have to lottery picks

The Golden State Warriors don’t have much of a shot to jump into the top 4, much less earn the No. 1 overall pick, but it would be interesting to see a bit of chalk which would result in Golden State entering the offseason with two lottery picks.

It would be intriguing to see what exactly the Warriors would do with these picks. It would be somewhat surprising to see Golden State enter next season with two rookies and a second-year player in James Wiseman on the roster, especially if they’re banking on becoming a championship contender again.

Golden State would almost definitely be lurking in the trade market looking for a big-name that they could stick next to Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, as he returns from injury, to help close the gap between the Warriors and the rest of the Western Conference contenders.

Would the Warriors, now, have enough ammunition to pry away another disgruntled star from their current team? It’d set up for an interesting offseason.
