NBA Draft Thought No. 1: The Toronto Raptors are big winners

When it was announced that the Raptors had jumped into the top 4, I couldn’t help but feel how this will launch them into the offseason with great momentum. Additionally, this could be the opportunity that this team needed to jumpstart their road back to relevancy.

With the likelihood that Kyle Lowry will be leaving this offseason, adding a top 4 talent in this year’s draft could be what exactly this team needs to be able to withstand that loss.

The Raptors should be able to land one of the top 4 prospects in this draft and feel good about their chances. The good news is this draft appears to be a top 4 draft before the drop-off in prospects. That’s great news for the Raptors.
