Three goals for the Phoenix Suns in Game 4: Be the best at doing your job

Suns just didn’t have it. It’s not like both teams had a rough night and it was this weird “Rock fight” kind of a game. It wasn’t a blowout, but at no point did it feel like the Suns were going to get the lead.

Phoenix had a little run in them early in the second half and it honestly didn’t matter. It didn’t phase, the fans, it didn’t phase anyone on the Clippers, it only made Suns fans die a thousand deaths thinking they may have a shot at winning, even when they knew they didn’t.

Paul and Devin Booker are the unassailable leaders of this Phoenix and honestly, they looked the worst out of the team. Maybe it feels that way because I expect more out of them, but it just wasn’t there, and it didn’t get better as the game went on. Booker and Paul combined for a sad total of 30 points. With10-40 shot attempts between the two of them.

Meanwhile, the Clippers had a combined 50 points between Paul George and Reggie Jackson to go with 15 important points and 16 rebounds from the man in the middle Ivica Zubac. The Clippers shot a higher percentage from the field, won three out of four quarters, got to the free-throw line more, and outrebounded the Suns in Game 3.

It’s safe to say the Clippers were the best at doing their job on Thursday night. With the series now at 2-1 giving Phoenix the edge, Game 4 becomes just that more important for both teams.
