Teams who should target Tyler Herro: Detroit Pistons

The Detroit Pistons make a ton of sense, especially after they were awarded the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. As the Pistons begin a pivot to build around Cade Cunningham, who is expected to be the No. 1 pick, it wouldn’t be surprising for the Pistons to sniff around Herro.

As a scoring 2, Herro would be an intriguing young option that the Pistons could stick next to Cunningham. The expectations would significantly decrease for Herro and he’d be able to grow next to what many expect to be a surefire star.

I’m not sure if there’s any one player on the Pistons roster that would intrigue the Heat (perhaps Jerami Grant?) but it shouldn’t be surprising to see Detroit at least explore the trade market for Herro.
