Philadelphia 76ers: 3 superstars the Sixers should trade Ben Simmons for
Philadelphia 76ers: Bradley Beal
If the Sixers have the opportunity to trade for Bradley Beal, they should jump all over it. Beal, in his eighth season, is a complete offensive player that at any moment can hit the nuclear button and drop 30-40 points.
Beal averaged 31.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game and also made his first All-NBA team this year, a third-team selection. An Embiid – Beal combo would be devastating especially in the Eastern Conference. It would be a nightmare for teams to defend the pick-and-roll actions the Sixers could run with those two.
Two major roadblocks stand in the way of this dream. The first is that the Wizards have said they are staying committed to Beal and are not looking to trade him. As we all know in the NBA, circumstances can change rather quickly. The second roadblock would be are the Wizards interested in moving their best player for Ben Simmons whose skill set in theory wouldn’t mesh well with the roster they have.
If the opportunity arises, the 76ers must pounce on it.
