Los Angeles Lakers’ offseason target: Bobby Portis

If you’ve followed the Milwaukee Bucks’ playoff run this season, which has led them to the NBA Finals, you’ve seen Bobby Portis work as an electric rod for the team from time to time. That’s exactly the type of player that the Lakers could use off the bench.

Portis could emerge as a cheap target for many contenders during the offseason and will have an even bigger aurora surrounding him during the offseason if he can add NBA champion to his resume. Portis is active, athletic, and has a full range of offensive weapons in his arsenal.

He could play next to Anthony Davis and LeBron James, effectively, or could even play a key role for the team’s bench unit. Portis is coming off a season in which he averaged 11 points and seven rebounds on 52 percent shooting from the field and 47 percent shooting from the 3-point range.
