New York Knicks offseason targets: Dennis Schroder

Dennis Schroder is another option that the Knicks could explore this offseason. Schroder is an unrestricted free agent but is expected to be costly. If the Knicks explore the idea of Schroder, they need to be sure that he’s worth the big-money deal that he will likely get.

This can’t be another misstep that sets the franchise back another half-decade. And due to the uncertainty that signing Schroder to a huge deal would bring, I really do believe New York will likely stay away from a move such as this one.

Still, if the Knicks are solid that Schroder is the man that will be able to help this team heading into the future, he would make sense. Schroder is just 27 years old and coming off a season in which he averaged 15 points and six assists per game playing next to LeBron James and Anthony Davis with the Los Angeles Lakers.
