10. New Orleans Pelicans – Davion Mitchell, G, Baylor

There are whispers that the New Orleans Pelicans could trade the No. 10 pick in an attempt to win now, but if they elect to hold onto this pick Davion Mitchell could very well be in play. Mitchell is coming off a championship run at Baylor and could be the leader that the team needs in the locker room.

Especially if the Pelicans are going to lose Lonzo Ball during the offseason, it would be smart and sensible for the team to address the backcourt with this pick. Mitchell might not be the star talent that the team is looking for, but he’s a solid player that will be productive sooner rather than later.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Pelicans tackle the offseason and plenty of that will likely be evident by what they do with the No. 10 pick.
