12. San Antonio Spurs – Josh Giddey, F, Australia

If there’s one team that has had success with international players over the years in the NBA, it’s the San Antonio Spurs. Looking for a new franchise player, Josh Giddey could emerge as an interesting project for Gregg Popovich and company.

Giddey is a Ben Simmons-like prospect and is known for his playmaking ability to go along with his great size. Giddey seems like a player that could blossom into a really good player down the line and I’m not sure where he could thrive more than in San Antonio.

The Spurs will groom and develop him at a comfortable pace and Popovich is still one of the best coaches in the league. If Giddey is going to be a future star, the Spurs could be the perfect landing spot for him.
